Simon of Response Rigging yesterday started work on the Bowsprit installation. I popped down to the boat to discuss pole position and to stare at my new shiny Harken Radial winches. Simon had done a super job in fabricating the stainless steel ring mount that the sprit slides through. I also collected the Facnor furler from Quantum sails to try it in position on the end of pole.
So far it looks as though everything is going to work out very well. It’s all very exciting.
