Dave Hennessy kindly sent me these pictures of NINJOD. They were taken during the return leg and some lumpy weather.
August and September were fun months.
First off in August I took the week off for Burnham week and sailed with the crew and chums of Nick Poole’s Gambit aboard NINJOD. We had a fun week, drank far too much and I guess I secured my spot as the best dancer in BOC (probably !)
In September we set of for Southampton, the boat show and the AZAB prize giving at Royal Southampton yacht club. It was fantastic to catch up with people. The turn out for the prize giving was spectacular. On a personal note I was very surprised and emotional to hear NINJOD called as one of the nominations for the trophy voted by the competitors.
Deborah Fish spotted us on route back to Burnham-on-Crouch and snapped some fantastic pictures.
